How to get there
The Museum of Tomorrow is located at Praça Mauá, 1, in Centro. For those using public transportation, the museum itself recommends the VLT Line 1, getting off at Parada dos Museus, about 200 meters from the entrance.
VLT
This is the most direct option for reaching Praça Mauá. For a timed event, it reduces the risk of losing time looking for parking.
Metro
The Uruguaiana station is a landmark recommended by the Museum of Tomorrow. From there, you can walk or complete the journey by VLT.
Car
The Museum of Tomorrow states that it does not have its own parking. There are private parking lots nearby.

Safety tips
Praça Mauá is an important tourist and cultural area, but activity levels change throughout the day. For evening sessions, the most important thing is not to improvise your journey home.
- Decide in advance whether you will return by VLT, taxi or ride-hailing app.
- Avoid standing around on the street with your phone out.
- Wait for your ride in a busy area and confirm the license plate and driver’s details.
- If you are unfamiliar with Centro at night, opt for short, direct routes.
- If you are traveling in a group, agree on a meeting point before the event.

| Open your ticket before leaving | This avoids relying on a signal at the entrance. |
| Plan your journey home | Especially important for evening sessions. |
| Bring a light jacket | Enclosed spaces may have strong air conditioning. |
