Is Candlelight Queen & ABBA worth attending?

It combines highly recognizable songs that span generations. The 6:00 p.m. session makes it easy to plan a walk around Praça Mauá before the concert and dinner afterward.

One thing to note: Fever states that entry is not permitted after the event begins. Since seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, arriving early also gives you better seating options.

It is a tribute concert; the artists being honored do not participate in or endorse the event.

How to get to Museu do Amanhã

Museu do Amanhã is located at Praça Mauá, 1, in Centro. The museum’s official recommendation is to take VLT Line 1 and get off at Parada dos Museus, about 200 meters from the entrance.

VLT

This is the simplest way to reach Praça Mauá without relying on parking.

Metro

The Uruguaiana station is one of the landmarks recommended by Museu do Amanhã. Depending on where you are coming from, you can walk from there or combine the journey with the VLT.

Train and ferries

If you arrive at Central do Brasil, you can connect to the VLT. Passengers arriving from Niterói by ferry disembark at Praça XV and can continue through the central area.

Car

Museu do Amanhã states that it does not have its own parking. There are private parking lots nearby, but for events with a set start time, public transportation usually reduces the risk of being late.

Safety tips for Praça Mauá

Praça Mauá is an important tourist and cultural area, but things change considerably after the daytime crowds thin out. For evening sessions, it is best to avoid improvising your journey back.

  • Decide in advance whether you will return by VLT, taxi or rideshare.
  • Avoid standing still on the sidewalk with your phone out while deciding which route to take.
  • Wait for a rideshare in a busy area, and check the license plate and driver’s details.
  • If you are unfamiliar with Centro at night, choose short, direct journeys.
  • If you are traveling in a group, agree on a meeting point before entering the concert.
