How the experience works
The idea is to taste five varieties of wine while a comedian hosts a show written by Merrick Watts and created by Grapes of Mirth. You do not need to know anything about wine to take part: the experience is designed to combine informal learning, tasting and humor.
Alcohol consumption is voluntary. Fever states that other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased separately at the venue.

Tickets: what is included

The event also offers a Social Ticket at selected sessions. Prices and availability vary by date and category, so check directly in the ticket selector.
Food and extra drinks
Other drinks and bar or kitchen items are not included in the ticket. Fever states that bar and kitchen orders close 15 minutes before the session ends. If you would rather not drink on an empty stomach, plan to eat beforehand.
Can you film the show?
The experience asks the audience to not record the performance. Fever states that people who are filming may be asked to delete the video and may even be asked to leave the venue in the event of a dispute.
How to get to Teatro Rival Petrobras
Teatro Rival Petrobras is located at Rua Álvaro Alvim, 33, Cinelândia. The venue itself recommends arriving by metro or VLT, both of which have stations in Cinelândia.
Metro
Get off at Cinelândia. This is the simplest option for anyone coming from Zona Sul or other areas served by the metro.
VLT
The area is also served by the VLT. If you are traveling around Centro or the port area, it may be a good alternative.
By car
Teatro Rival states that there are car parks nearby, as well as underground parking in the area. Even so, since the experience includes wine, we do not recommend driving if you plan to drink.

Safety: alcohol is the key consideration here
Cinelândia is a central area with heavy foot traffic during the day and around event times, but conditions can change quickly at night.
- If you drink, do not drive. Use the metro, VLT, a taxi or a ride-hailing app.
- Plan how you will leave before the session, especially for the 9 pm sessions.
- Avoid waiting for transport in deserted areas; use the theater exit or a busy location instead.
- Keep your phone and wallet safely put away while walking around.
- Check metro and VLT operating times on the day of your session and have a ride-hailing app as a backup.

It is also a good idea to alternate wine with water during the experience and respect your limits. The five samples are included, but no one is required to drink them all.
