Is Candlelight: Linkin Park worth attending?

It is one of the most emotionally appealing rock tribute shows in the lineup, especially for those who followed Linkin Park in the 2000s. The 5 p.m. session is easier logistically; for the 9 p.m. session, you will need to plan your journey home.

Important note: Fever states that late entry is not permitted. The doors open 30 minutes before the start and close 5 minutes before it begins. Since seating is first come, first served within each zone, arriving early also gives you more choice of seats.

It is a tribute concert; the featured artists do not participate in, are not affiliated with or endorse the event.

Getting to Solar de Botafogo

Solar de Botafogo is located at Rua General Polidoro, 180, in Botafogo. There are bus stops very close by, as well as metro access with a final walk.

Metro

The Cardeal Arcoverde and Botafogo stations serve the area. Depending on the exit and route you take, the final walk may take around 15 to 20 minutes, so do not rely solely on the metro travel time to arrive.

Bus

There is a stop practically in front of the address, as well as other routes nearby. On event days, check the route in real time before setting out.

Ride-hailing app

It is a simple alternative, especially on the way back from 9 p.m. sessions. Enter Rua General Polidoro, 180 as the destination to avoid confusion with other venues in Botafogo.

Safety tips

Botafogo is a busy neighborhood, but some areas become quieter late at night. For late sessions, plan your departure before the concert.

  • If you are returning by metro, check the operating hours for that day.
  • If you use a ride-hailing app, wait in a busy area and confirm the license plate and driver’s details.
  • Avoid walking distracted with your phone out.
  • If you are in a group, agree on a meeting point for after the event.
  • If you do not know the neighborhood, avoid improvising shortcuts on foot at night.

Things to do nearby

Botafogo and Urca

Depending on the time, you can combine the session with late afternoon in Botafogo or Urca before heading to the Solar.

Dinner afterward

Botafogo has a good concentration of bars and restaurants, so a 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. session still leaves time for dinner in the neighborhood without crossing the city.

Where to stay

Botafogo is a practical base for those who want to balance Zona Sul, the city center and access to events. Flamengo and Copacabana may also make sense depending on the rest of your trip.
