Is Candlelight: Rainhas da Sofrência worth attending?
It is an especially interesting option for fans of sertanejo who want to hear popular songs in a format completely different from a traditional concert. The Museum of Tomorrow setting makes it possible to combine the concert with a full outing around Praça Mauá.
A point to note: Fever states that it does not allow entry after the performance begins. Since seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, arriving early also gives you more seating options.
This is a tribute concert; the artists being honored do not participate in, affiliate with or endorse the event.

Date and time
September 25, 2026 — 8 p.m. It is therefore a single-date event at this stage of the calendar.
Dates, times, zones and availability may change. Make one final check in the Fever selector before heading out.

The program published by Fever brings together hits by different voices in sofrência and contemporary sertanejo:

Tickets: zones, categories and arrival

The affiliate feed indicated different price ranges by zone and category. Since the event is approaching, treat the price as subject to change and confirm availability at the time of purchase.
Before completing your purchase, check the date, time, zone, ticket category and documentation required for discounted admission when applicable.
How to get to the Museum of Tomorrow
The Museum of Tomorrow is located at Praça Mauá, 1, in Centro. For public transportation, the museum itself recommends the VLT Line 1 and getting off at Parada dos Museus, about 200 meters from the entrance.
VLT
This is the most direct way to reach Praça Mauá. Parada dos Museus is close to the entrance, reducing the amount of walking—especially useful at night.
Metro
The Uruguaiana station is the reference point recommended by the Museum of Tomorrow. From there, you can walk toward Praça Mauá or combine the journey with the VLT.
Train and ferries
Those arriving via Central do Brasil can connect to the VLT; those getting off the ferries at Praça XV can continue on foot or by public transportation.
Car
The Museum of Tomorrow states that it does not have its own parking lot. There are private parking lots nearby, and the museum cites RB1, on Avenida Rio Branco, as a nearby option.

Safety tips
Praça Mauá sees a steady flow of tourists, workers and eventgoers. Even so, your plans should vary considerably between a late-afternoon session and leaving at night.
- Decide how you will get back before going inside. For later sessions, know whether you will use the VLT, a taxi or a ride-hailing app.
- Avoid standing still with your phone out in the open while checking your route or booking a car.
- Wait in busy areas for app-based transportation, and confirm the license plate and driver’s identity before getting in.
- Do not improvise long walks at night if you are unfamiliar with Centro; choose a simple, direct route instead.
- If you are traveling in a group, agree on a meeting point for when you leave.

Practical tips for making the most of your visit
| Tip | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Arrive early | Entry is not permitted after the performance begins, and seats are not numbered within the zone. |
| Check your ticket on your phone before leaving | This avoids searching for an email or opening the app at the door. |
| Plan your return | Especially important for evening sessions. |
| Bring a light jacket | Indoor spaces may have strong air conditioning. |
| Confirm accessibility | If you have a specific requirement, verify the zone and accommodation before purchasing. |
What to do nearby
Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR)
It is located right on Praça Mauá and pairs especially well with late-afternoon sessions. See our Museu de Arte do Rio guide.
Edifício Touring
It is a convenient option for eating before or after the event without leaving the area. See the Edifício Touring guide and our overview of Touring prices and restaurants.
Boulevard Olímpico
If you arrive early, it is worth walking along the waterfront and through the port area. To expand your itinerary, see things to do in Rio de Janeiro.
Where to stay
If the event is part of a trip to Rio, I would not choose a hotel based solely on its distance from Praça Mauá. Centro, Flamengo, Botafogo and Copacabana can work differently depending on the rest of your itinerary.
